Areas of Expertise:

Do you feel like you are tossed around by life and end up confused about who you want to be? Or do find that you are stuck in the same patterns of dealing with situations or people in the same way? I come alongside people and help them figure out why things aren’t working anymore.

As we meet together we will talk about your main concerns and come up with a plan towards living the life you want. I love to teach people skills to help them feel calmer, improve relationships, and grow in their personal life. When you walk into my office, I offer listening, acceptance, practical application and hope

My background in crisis and trauma services enables me to have a holistic and compassionate perspective while being able to help you live freely in the present while we deal with the past. Change can be very hard and oftentimes the thought patterns you use can leave you feeling stuck and needing help to readjust. It can be helpful to have skills around setting boundaries, assertive communication, identity development, and healing from trauma. With unconditional acceptance and encouragement, I help you take an honest look to create new patterns of coping, living a full life, and having an meaningful connection with others.

I am a therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Yoga and Mindfulness techniques, and EMDR in an eclectic and personalized manner to assist you with your goals. My background is working with trauma survivors, ranging from adolescents to the elderly. I am also able to offer NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) as an addition or as a part of counseling which is five sterile small needles in the ear that has been shown to help with cravings, depression, anxiety and trauma symptoms. I graduated from Denver Seminary and will gladly integrate faith if you are interested. I am a Colorado native, wife, and mother of two small children. I love to cook and bake, garden, and paint.
